John (JDRobison@Aol.com) sent in an update regarding M1 Garand conversion kit. His product is contentiously evolving:
Introduced almost 4 years ago the fully finished M14 to M1 Garand conversions have undergone a number of refinements and changes in the process of racking up almost 200 retail sales. The current edition has undergone subtle but meaningful changes at the request of the fast growing WW2 airsoft community.
The rifle now features a properly shaped lower stock in simulated wood or real wood. It uses actual handguards and an original front gas assembly (All modified and attached solidly and attractively) To further enhance the conversion the slector switch is removed as is the charging handle brace. Other augmentations to the receiver group provide a uniformly Garajd appearance.
The base rifle is a CYMA 032 which provides excellent performance right out of the box. Each rifle comes with three flush mounted 15 round clips, a speed loader, unjamming rod, battery and charger and custom owners manual done up to look like a 1942 Field Manual. It provides care and maintenance instructions, disassembly diagrams and clear tutorial on making your own additional clips.
The base price FOB US is $560.00 US plus shipping. Options include a proper leather sling $28.00, a padded OD zippered carry case $29.00 and a bandoleer with six clips for $86.00. Each rifle can be custom orderd in one of two finishes a Dark Walnut or a Medium finish. The rifles weigh 7 1/2 pounds and shoot at 356 FPS w .20 Gram BBs.
Oui je sais, le post est en anglais. Mais la transformation est vraiment pas mal.
